Meet Mirela
I grew up using a single soap for everything—hair, face, and body. As the years rolled by, I found myself caught up in the hustle and bustle of city life and corporate expectations, leading me to adopt a plethora of mainstream cosmetics. Shampoo and conditioner, shower gels, hair dyes, shaving gels, makeup, lipsticks, face and body moisturizers became part of my daily routine. Yet, despite the array of products I used, I couldn't understand why my hair and skin remained persistently dry.
About a decade ago, I embarked on a journey towards personal health. I took up running, and ate what I believed was a "healthy" vegetarian diet. Unfortunately, I had a significant blind spot when it came to incorporating healthy fats into my nutrition. I always had an intuitive connection to nature and the healing power of the sun and was highly sensitive to products laden with strong chemicals and artificial ingredients. However, I found myself trapped in a cycle where I used one chemical to strip away the natural oils produced by my skin, only to apply another chemical to moisturize and replicate those oils. My hair and skin remained parched, and my energy levels dwindled.
Realizing that I needed to make a significant change, I transitioned to an animal-based diet and drastically reduced my reliance on cosmetics and hair and skin products. However, I still clung to liquid shampoo, conditioner, and moisturizer as daily staples.
It was my husband's unwavering passion, commitment to learning, relentless research, and his willingness to experiment that ultimately convinced me to try tallow soap. The first time I used our tallow soaps, I was immediately struck by how gentle and nourishing they were for my skin. From that moment on, I never looked back.
I am tremendously proud and inspired by my husband, Matt, whose inquisitive mind continuously challenges the conventional norms. His determination leads us on a journey to reconnect with nature, embrace our wild instincts, and experience true freedom. This newfound liberation extends beyond cosmetics and chemicals; it also frees us from limiting beliefs and the constraints of unnatural living.

Meet Matthias
The inception of The Tallow Bias stems from my unwavering commitment to reconnect with nature, eliminate chemicals from my life, and embrace a more primal way of living. I found myself at a crossroads where, despite rigorous exercise, I was struggling with unwanted weight gain. This served as a catalyst for my transformation towards consuming real, animal-based foods while eliminating processed edibles and beverages. However, it wasn't until recent years that I delved deeper into the profound link between our dietary choices and our overall health.
My quest for knowledge led me to the realization that the realms of Big Food, Big Pharma, and Big Cosmetics are intertwined, with many of their products laden with harsh chemicals and an alarming dose of toxins concealed beneath alluring packaging.
In addition to overhauling my diet, I made the conscious choice to bid farewell to commercial skincare products, including shampoo, soaps, sunscreen, and deodorant, all of which harbored harmful chemicals and artificial ingredients.
This transition introduced me to the world of Tallow soaps, which I embrace wholeheartedly. Witnessing the remarkable benefits of Tallow soaps, particularly for my wife's exceptionally dry skin, I couldn't help but wonder: Why not create our own instead of importing them from abroad?
We shared few of these handcrafted Tallow soaps with our close family and friends, and the response was overwhelmingly positive. This positive feedback inspired my wife to handcraft 100% natural soaps, using only the essential ingredients necessary.
My philosophy revolves around the principle that "less is more” when it comes to our products, nutrition and lifestyle. I can`t wait for you to enjoy and experience the benefits of our amazing, handcrafted tallow soaps. You are going to love them.
